Kayak the Essex River Basin with us on Saturday, August 20th, 2011
We will be renting (or you can bring your own kayak and save $10.00, your kayak should be at least 13.5 ft. long) and guided by Essex River Basin Adventures, (ERBA) Check out their website at www.erba.com
Our trip is called the Gilligan Tour, app. 3 hrs. and costs $54.00, this includes your kayak, life vest & paddle, shuttle transportation & guide service.
You should bring a bathing suit, towel, shorts & t-shirt, water shoes or old sneakers that will get wet. Suntan lotion, hat, sunglasses, drinking water & snack and a change of clothes. Large zip lock bags work well to keep things dry. A camera is nice if you’re careful.
This is truly a beautiful area on the back side of Cranes Beach in Essex Ma. This is an easy paddle and the guides are expertly trained to provide you with a fun and safe trip. It is also the same trip that we all made last Summer.
There are several great casual restaurants in the area where we could end our day.

I will need a check made out to ERBA for $54.00 per person to reserve your kayak & gear.
We will be meeting to carpool in the parking lot of the Fantabulous Border Grill & Bar on Mill St. near The Mall at Whitney Field in Leominster and leave promptly at 10:00am
I will need a check sent to 127 Davis Rd. Westminster, Mass. 01473, made out to ERBA for $54.00 per person to reserve your kayak & gear. At least 10 days before we shove off.
