About Us

The Montachusett Ski & Snowboard Club, first formed in 1971, is a nonprofit club that not only provides its membership with great skiing & snowboarding value but prides itself in being a social club as well with many Après ski events. We are a family oriented club encouraging members of all ages young and old coming together for enjoyment of winter sports at greatly discounted prices. We consider one of our greatest strengths to be planning group skiing and snowboarding adventures to a wide selection of destinations. We also have hiking, biking and kayaking group trips in the off-season.

What we typically offer to members for club-sponsored trips and activities in the winter season are day, weekend and week long trips (approximation- number of trips can vary for each category each year)

• Day trips- approx. 8 trips within a 2-2.5 travel time to ski areas usually on a Saturday or Sunday. The Bus trip is free with your membership. Members only pay for the lift ticket at a significantly discounted rate. The Bus leaves from the Fitchburg Intermodal station. (Day trips for the 2023/24 season TBD)

• Weekend Trips- 2 or more discounted weekend trips, usually being a 2 or 3 night stay at a resort. Most include a Bus transportation to the resort, lift ticket, lodging and sometimes meals. We also may have a U-Drive trip.

• Week Long Trips - 1 to 2 week long trips within the United States/Canada or Europe with great package rates. These trips have a trip coordinator traveling with the group. They include bus transportation to the airport and ski resort area, discounted lodging, lift tickets and some meals.

Our club meets once a month on the 3rd Thursday from September to April at 7pm in the Leominster/Fitchburg MA area with varied speakers, prizes and raffles at most meetings. We traditionally hold our November meeting at our home mountain, Wachusett Mountain Ski Resort in Princeton, MA. In the summer we have an annual Chicken BBQ outing held in August where we socialize, have a Chinese Auction and start signing up for upcoming ski trips.
