2024/2025 TRIPS

We have covered all the ski resorts in our area over the years.

The day trips each season alternate between Saturdays, Sundays and occasionally weekdays. We will also

visit Icon, Epic, Indy pass mountains as well as Mountains with no pass affiliation.

There is always something for everyone.

In the past the club has been able to leverage the Connecticut Ski Council Appreciation Days, however due to

the introduction of the Icon, Epic and Indy Passes the club now needs to make arrangements

directly with each mountain.

We ask for your patience while we navigate this uncharted territory.

All dates are subject to change based on resorts and snow conditions.

What you need to know about Day Trips

The cost of most day trips includes bus transportation. A bus fee is added to the day trip costs for non-members wishing to try out the club.

Cancellation: If you cancel prior to the registration cut off day of the scheduled trip, you will receive a full refund; if you cancel after the registration cut off date, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Please sign up on line at least 5 days in advance so we know enough people are interested in the trip for it to go. Late reservations will be accommodated only if seats are available. If the bus is sold out, you are out of luck!, so sign up early.
If you are not a Montachusett Ski & Snowboard Club member, you can still join us on a day trip. Non-Members will be subjected to a bus fee (per trip) of $40 (non-refundable). If after the day trip you decide to join the club, the $40 bus fee will be credited towards the membership fee.
For minors on trips: Montachusett Ski & Snowboard Club is not responsible for the care, protection and maintenance of the minors during the ski trip on (dates and locations below). The adult accompanying the minors on the trip is solely responsible for the minor, with no responsibility to the Montachusett Ski & Snowboard Club. If you have an Icon pass and are a club member, this trip will cost you nothing!

Friday, February 17, 2023, day trip to Loon Mountain. The bus will have 2 pick-up locations: The Twin City Plaza (old Kmart Plaza), exit 98 off RT2 in Leominster (875 Merriam Ave, Leominster, MA 01453), and the Townsend Common on Rout 13 in Townsend. The bus will leave Leominster at 6 AM and arrive ~6:20 AM in Townsend.

Mount Snow March 25th

End of Season Tail Gate Party

Winter might be winding down; however, we have one more day trip on the calendar!

Next Saturday, March 25th, the club is heading to Mount Snow for our last-day trip of the 2022/23 ski season.

As a way to say thank you to all our members, the club is offering $60 lift tickets - that’s $75 off the full ticket price, which the club will cover.

Remember… Mount Snow is an Epic Pass Mountain.

We are also working on hosting a party in the parking lot… details to follow.

DESTINATION TRIPS

We organize one week or 10 day trip a year. Past trips have been to Saint Anton Austria, Lake Tahoe, Chamonix France, Big Sky Montana, Lake Louise Canada, Park City Utah and many other well known ski resorts around the world.

What you need to know about Destination Trips

Our trips are run by volunteer trip coordinators. What does this mean? They are on vacation too! So when you go on a trip, don’t expect them to be a vacation coordinator/ babysitter. This is your vacation, we are not responsible for making it fun for you. Let fun happen naturally!

Members are expected to:

Reach out to provided travel agent contact with any questions regarding the charter package.
Once at hotel/condo/auberge- handle any room issues directly with the front desk.
Be a team player, this is group travel. Airline delays, missed connections, lost luggage will happen. Deep breath and be a nice human.
Book travel insurance.
Provide emergency contact info and disclose any pre-existing medical condition.
In the event that a medical or a behavioral issue impacts your ability to participate in trip, your emergency contact will be contacted to make arrangements to get you home at your expense.
